What is Christian Science healing?
It is seeing yourself and your whole world as God sees it––discovering your freedom, removing barriers, having peace and harmony in your life. It is knowing you are loved and cared for as God’s own child, because you were made in God’s image. Christian Science heals by prayer that is seeing what God is seeing and knowing and causing for you, and rejecting everything that would disrupt harmony in your life. It is aligning you with the perfection that God created when you were made in Her image and likeness.

Prayer that consistently heals.
I’ve been asked, why do you use the name Christian Science? First, because what we’re doing is based on the healing example of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our best example of healing. He taught his disciples who were only fishermen to be healers, but there was no record of how the disciples healed. Christian Science is the re-discovery of Christ healing, and because it can be replicated by all, it is scientific.
Christian Science, following Jesus’ example, doesn’t demand that one has to be in a denomination or religion to be healed. It is the application of the universal Christ truth. It is the refreshing, inspired, expression of God’s abundant love for all Her creation.

What does a Christian Science practitioner do?
Many people pray for healing, and their prayers do sometimes work. But many times we find our prayers are hampered by mixed expectations––we hope God is hearing us; we think God is hearing us; we think God might heal us, but we're just not sure we can rely on God. The Christian Science practitioner is someone who is constantly prepared to lift your thought and experience to complete trust in God’s care. He/she prays from the standpoint that all things are possible to God and that you are worthy of all good. And the result is that you can experience healing by realizing the presence of God is causing health, right supply, and loving relationships right at this moment for you.
